What is facial plasma?

You’ve probably heard of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facials. The basic process begins by removing blood from your body and then using a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells. The remaining platelet-rich plasma is what is used in this facial process.

Facial plasma is a simple and effective procedure

Simply put, a PRP facial treatment uses your own body’s platelets and plasma to restore youth and beauty to your face. The natural elements present in your own plasma are applied to the face, under the skin, during a short procedure.

Once the plasma is in, it begins to do its job of rejuvenating the entire face, tightening wrinkled areas, and smoothing the overall look. It is able to do that because the essential components of PRP stimulate collagen growth.

Some people choose to have just one facial plasma treatment, while others undergo a regular series of procedures. The more often you get a PRP facial, the longer the results of each treatment will last, which is three to six months.

What are the main advantages of facial plasma?

        ·       · Really transforms the look of your skin in a positive way.

        ·       · There is no possibility of an allergic reaction because the plasma comes from your own body.              .

        ·      · Pain and discomfort are minimal and the procedure is short.

What exactly is the treatment like?

As we said, a small sample of your blood is taken and placed in a centrifuge to isolate the plasma and platelets from the red blood cells. Red blood cells are not used in the procedure. This protein-rich plasma is what helps stimulate collagen production when applied to facial skin.

A topical cream is usually used to numb the skin about 20 minutes before treatment.

Generally, a first infusion with hyaluronic acid is performed to ensure that the skin is completely hydrated and free of pigmentation.

The plasma is spread over the entire face before the next step of the process.

A microneedle device is then used on the forehead, cheeks and other parts of the face to ensure that the protein-rich substance can penetrate deep into the skin.

The micro-needles themselves help stimulate collagen growth, so when used in conjunction with a PRP infusion, you get a double collagen boosting effect.

For deep lines and other areas of facial skin, fillers or botulinum toxin can be used to treat plump skin and small wrinkles.
