Varicose veins or large blue venous vessels can also be treated with Foam Sclerotherapy or Sclerotherapy. However, if they are very thick or painful, the treatment of choice is Endovenous Vascular Occlusion (ENOF), performed under ultrasound guidance.
This non-invasive procedure replaces traditional surgery like lower limb saphenectomy. It’s remarkable because it preserves the veins and is outpatient, causing no discomfort or medical incapacity.
